Crispy Black Bean Tacos Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 can Ortega Black Beans
- 1/2 cup of salsa
- 1 packet of Ortega Taco Seasoning
- 1 Ortega Grande Taco Kit
- Ortega Chipotle Aioli (optional dipping sauce)
- Chopped cilantro (optional topping)
Directions
- Remove soft taco shells from the Ortega Grande Taco Kit and save hard taco shells for another time.
- In a large non-stick pan over medium high heat, add black beans, salsa and taco seasoning and cook until the beans have softened, about 5-7 mins.
- Once softened, roughly mash bean mixture until beans turn into a paste-like consistency.
- Remove bean mixture from pan, wipe out pan and return to heat with butter or oil. Using 1-2 spoonfuls, spread beans on one side of a tortilla. Fold tortillas in half and toast both sides in the pan over medium heat.
- Serve with Ortega Chipotle Aioli, chopped cilantro or your favorite toppings.
