Cheesesteak Tacos Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 ¼ pounds skirt steak, thinly sliced and coarsely chopped
- 1 package Ortega Taco Seasoning, divided
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 large green pepper, chopped
- 1 sweet onion, chopped
- ¼ cup water
- ½ cup Ortega Creamy Queso Sauce
- 6 Ortega Flour Tortillas, warmed
Directions
- Toss steak with 2 tablespoons Ortega Taco Seasoning.
- Heat oil in large nonstick skillet over medium high heat. Brown steak in batches. Remove and set aside.
- Add peppers and onion to same skillet and cook 5 minutes or until softened. Return steak to skillet, add remaining taco seasoning and water and cook 2 to 3 minutes or until heated through.
- Serve steak and pepper mixture in tortillas and top with Ortega Creamy Queso Sauce.
- Garnish with sliced jalapenos if desired.
