Fajita Platter Recipe
Ingredients
- 4 tbsp Olive Oil, Divided
- 1lb Flank Steak
- 2 packets Ortega Street Taco Seasoning
- 3 Bell Peppers (Red, Orange, or Yellow)
- 2 White Onions
- 2 Cups of Guacamole
- Ortega Green Taco Sauce (For Serving)
- Ortega Habanero Taco Shells (For Serving)
- Ortega Guacamole Taco Shells (For Serving)
- Sour Cream (For Serving)
- Ortega Salsa (For Serving)
- 2 Limes, wedged (For Serving)
- 1 Bunch Cilantro, roughly chopped (For Serving)
Directions
- Coat flank steak in 2 tbsp of olive oil and 1 packet of Ortega Street Taco Seasoning, Cover and marinate for 30 minutes.
- Pre heat your grill over medium high heat. Grill steak until desired doneness. Set aside and cover to rest for 10 minutes.
- While steak is resting, heat 2 tbsp olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Slice bell peppers and white onions and season with Ortega Street Taco Seasoning. Sauté until tender.
- Once rested, Slice steak into thin strips.
- To assemble, spread guacamole over a serving board and top with sautéed peppers and onions. Layer sliced steak on top and drizzle with Ortega Green Sauce.
- Serve with Ortega Habanero and Guacamole Taco Shells, sour cream, salsa, cilantro, and lime.
