Taco Sliders Recipe

Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
- 1lb Ground Beef
- ½ C Diced White Onion
- 1 packet Ortega Hot & Spicy Taco Seasoning (1 Tsp reserved)
- 1 C Ortega Homestyle Salsa
- 12 Slider Buns, sliced in half
- 2 C Shredded Mexican Cheese Blend
- 2 Tbsp Melted Butter
- Cilantro, for serving
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees and prepare a 9X13 baking dish.
- Heat oil in a heavy-bottomed skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and onion. Cook until onion is soft and beef is browned through.
- Mix in Ortega Hot & Spicy Seasoning Packet (reserving 1 tsp for later) and Salsa. Cook according to package directions and remove from heat.
- Place the bottom half of the slider buns in the bottom of a prepared 9×13 baking dish. Spread the meat mixture in an even layer over the bottom buns. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the meat mixture and top with the remaining slider bun halves.
- Mix melted butter and reserved seasoning mix until combined. Generously brush the mixture over the tops of the slider buns.
- Cover with foil and bake at 350 for 15 – 20 minutes, removing the foil for the last 2-3 minutes of baking.
- Sprinkle with cilantro
